The duel between Spanish American war, General Enrique Loynaz del Castillo and Colonel Orestes Ferrara was memorable.

When General Loynaz was wounded on his head he got so upset that he charged after Colonel Ferrara although the duel had come to an end.

Disregarding his heavy bleeding he ran as fast as he could, weapon in hand, towards Ferrara, yelling --"What no Spaniard was able to do in combat to me this damned Italian did it."

General Loynaz was stopped by the spectators that were at the scene and taken to a hospital.
